Making eco-friendly choices

We’ve been making green choices ever since Tidy Books opened for business back in 2004. After all, it’s our kids who’ll inherit the planet we call home. When you buy Tidy Books, you’re making a green choice too.

Some of our green choices have been more challenging, such as introducing our safe, eco-friendly water lacquer.  But as every mum says, “Actions speak louder than words,” and we wanted to put our beliefs into action.

Here’s what we do, so that you can tread more lightly on the planet:

• We help retain forests by using sustainable wood for all Tidy Books products.
• We look after the health of our workforce and customers, and the fish in the rivers, with our pioneering water lacquer.
• All Tidy Books products are finished in water lacquer which is safe, eco-friendly and gives off virtually no toxic odours, or VOCs.
• We’ve cut our use of fuel and packaging by developing flat packed versions of our designs.
