Tidy Books scoops Creative Child Magazine Award 2013

Creative Child Magazine has awarded its ‘Product of the Year’ accolade to Tidy Books for its children’s book box, the Tidy Books Box.

The Tidy Books Box is a portable book box with a play clock, and its innovative design makes books accessible to young children by displaying the books front covers.   It is stylish enough for the living room, helping keep favourite kids books close at hand for story time, and holds up to 40 books.

The Creative Child Awards Program runs nationally in the US, and awarded the Tidy Books Box ‘Product of the Year’ 2013 in the Kids Room –Book Storage Category.   The Awards Program is unique as products are judged by parents, educators and professionals

“We are thrilled to have won recognition for the Tidy Books Box from the Creative Child judges– they are experts in children’s creativity, and in finding the products are brilliant at inspiring young minds!” Ruth Duncan, Marketing & PR Tidy Books

“I noticed that in most living rooms there is a box with a few favourite children’s books.  Again kids can’t see the covers, so drag them all out.  I wanted something that would work for the whole family, books of any shape and size, magazines etc.  Kids seem to love these next to their bed as well.” Geraldine Grandidier  CEO Tidy Books

Geraldine Grandidier created her first design, the Tidy Books Children’s Bookcase for her daughter in her violin workshop in 2004. She has added more children’s storage ideas to her range including the Tidy Books Box, which are made from sustainable wood and finished in an eco-friendly water lacquer.

Tidy Books has won many other awards for its children’s bookcases, book boxes and bunk bed shelves, including Mother and Baby Award, Junior Design Award and Right Start Gold and Silver Awards.

The Tidy Books Box is stocked in Amazon US, Diapers and Wayfair or online at Tidy Books, and priced from $110.
