Tidy Books makes innovative children’s bookcases – that get kids reading – and other award-winning storage designs for children. Started in 2004 with just £500, Tidy Books was created by mum and Geraldine Grandidier who wanted a bookcase for her daughter that was easier for her to use by herself, and she couldn’t find anything suitable on the high street.  One of her first clients was the editor of Mother & Baby Magazine, who featured the bookcase in the magazine and the business took off.

Geraldine Grandidier commented: “Our Nectar Small Business Award is a fabulous endorsement of Tidy Book’ original creations, and company’s innovative approach to achieving our ambition; which is to put a Tidy Books product in every child’s bedroom around the world.  Recognition from business experts like Karren Brady gives us a boost as we push for further international expansion.  And I’m delighted to donate the 50,000 Nectar Points won to Oxfam to help them educate girls in the developing world.”
